Help and this guide
Help, limits and how this guide works
If you need it, help on the island answers any hour of the day or night at the PEI Gambling Support Line, 1-855-255-4255. This guide is written by the Kensington Road desk, a collective name, from the venue's own pages and Prince Edward Island sources.

One number, any hour
The PEI Gambling Support Line is 1-855-255-4255. The call is toll-free and confidential. It answers 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and there is no time limit on calls. You can phone about your own gambling, or because someone else's gambling affects you.
Behind the line is the Gambling and Gaming Support Unit of the PEI Department of Health and Wellness. You do not have to be sure there is a problem before you call.
Set the limit at home
Before you leave the house, decide how long you will stay and how much you will spend. Treat that money as the cost of the evening, not something you expect back, and go home when it is gone. The slots close at 1 a.m. from Sunday to Wednesday and at 2 a.m. from Thursday to Saturday. Leave then, if not before. Everything on the gaming floor is 19+, and no one under 19 may play.
Taking a break from the floor
- Break in Play is the self-exclusion program for both Red Shores gaming floors, in Charlottetown and in Summerside. You choose 30, 60 or 90 days, or 6, 12, 24 or 36 months.
- You can enrol on site or through the PlayWise Advisors at 902-620-4267. Once a break is confirmed, it cannot be cancelled, so pick a length you mean.
- A PlayWise information centre operates at both Red Shores sites, reachable at the same number, 902-620-4267.
About the Kensington Road desk
This guide is written and signed collectively as the Kensington Road desk, and no page carries a personal byline. The young woman in the drawings is an illustrated character created for the guide, not a real person and not staff. The large scenes are generated pictures, not photographs of the venue.
Facts were checked on October 13, 2026, against the venue's own pages and Prince Edward Island sources. Times are Atlantic time. Distances are straight lines from the OpenStreetMap point of Charlottetown to town points on OpenStreetMap (© OpenStreetMap contributors). A straight line across the Northumberland Strait is not a road, and the guide does not estimate driving times.
There are no forms, comments or accounts on the site. Paid links, marked Ad, appear on the home page only and go to one private online casino partner. That partner pays the guide a commission.
